Our story

March 2022

The International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) helps us recruit an initial team of volunteer lawyers to join the project.

A first Ukrainian lawyer who fled Kropyvnytskyi joins the team and takes on responsibility for oversight of all requests from refugees.

We launch an online platform at UA.SUPPORT, where volunteer lawyers across the globe can collaborate and link their offers of help with those in need.

February 2022

Assuming a massive need for global legal aid to refugees from Ukraine, and having expertise in law firm and team collaboration, we decide to help organize volunteer lawyers around the world.

Together with a few friends who were desperate about the situation in Ukraine, we brainstorm ideas on how we could help.
